The keeping of secrets or mysteries is something that is very important in traditional Witchcraft. There are some things that have not been written in a book and never will be. Often these secrets or mysteries are passed during a rite of passage or initiation.

The bottom line is that there are no more secrets left in Wicca. What few secrets that were left were inevitably written down in a book at one time or another and through a little research can be found.

However, in Witchcraft, the secrets and mysteries are very well guarded. There is a very real edge of seriousness associated with the oaths that are taken to guard these secrets, and quite literally if certain things were revealed there would be very radical consequences to the welfare of the person who revealed it. When oaths are taken they are held above all else.
